Course Objectives
After completing this course, participants will understand the basic principles and performance of intermittent gas lift and plunger lift systems, be able to design, optimize and troubleshoot intermittent gas lift and plunger lift systems and compare intermittent gas lift and plunger lift to other artificial lift methods.

Course Syllabus
Artificial lift principles, reservoir and production system performance relationships, components of intermittent gas lift, intermittent gas lift cycle, system dynamics, plunger lift, troubleshooting intermittent gas lift and plunger lift installations.

Course Duration
5 Days (40 hours)

Course Format
The course consists of formal lectures followed by practical sessions where participants have a chance to work with the concepts learned in solving practical problems using MGP Technologies software and Excel spreadsheets.
