Course Objectives
After completing this course, participants will understand the basic principles and performance of jet pump systems, be able to design, optimize and troubleshoot jet pump systems and compare jet pump to other artificial lift methods.

Course Syllabus
Artificial lift principles, reservoir and production system performance relationships, surface components of jet pump systems, subsurface components of jet pump systems, pump geometry, theoretical performance of jet pumps, jet pump system dynamics, troubleshooting jet pump installations.

Course Format
The course consists of formal lectures followed by practical sessions where participants have a chance to work with the concepts learned in solving practical problems using MGP Technologies software and Excel spreadsheets.
