Course Objectives
After completing this course, participants will understand the basic principles and performance of PCP lift systems, be able to design, optimize and troubleshoot PCP lift systems and compare PCP lift to other artificial lift methods.

Course Syllabus
Artificial lift principles, reservoir and production system performance relationships, surface components of PCP systems, subsurface components of PCP systems, PCP geometry description, theoretical performance, viscosity effects on pump performance, two-phase flow effects on pump performance, pump selection, elastomer selection, troubleshooting PCP installations.

Course Duration
5 Days (40 hours)

Course Format
The course consists of formal lectures followed by practical sessions where participants have a chance to work with the concepts learned in solving practical problems using MGP Technologies software and Excel spreadsheets.
